Ezelis Sanderson

Ezelis Sanderson (CODA) was raised in a Christian a home with Deaf parents who taught her sign language. Through Deaf ministry, she realized her need for Jesus when she was 6 years old. Ever since then, she knew that God had called her to teach others about HIM.

After graduating from Gardner-Webb University, the Lord called Ezelis to become a missionary in Puerto Rico. She lived there for a year as a CODA/Deaf Youth and Children’s Director with Puerto Rico Deaf Ministries.

Ezelis has been serving with the SC Baptist Conference of the Deaf since 2014 through teaching the Deaf and CODA children and youth. That led to the position of Camp Director of Camp Ichthus where she serves each year.

Ezelis is married to Allen Sanderson and they have a Deaf daughter named Eden.  She is currently a freelance sign language interpreter and involved in Deaf ministries with her husband.
